Zachary Stephen Williams (June 27, 1978) is an American Christian rock artist. He was the lead vocalist and member of Zach Williams & The Reformation. Zach was born in Pensacola, Florida, and grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He has also worked as a lead singer of the Christian groups called Brothers of Grace. The group was renamed to Zach Williams and the Brothers of Grace before Williams went solo in 2016. Zach Williams & The Reformation, a group in which Williams had worked as a lead vocalist, consisted of Robby Rigsbee, Evan Wilson, Red Dorton, and Josh Copeland other than Williams. Zach Williams released two independent albums and The Reformation entitled Electric Revival in 2009 and A Southern Offering in 2011. Zach also released a six-track EP entitled “Shine a Light EP.” It was an independent release in 2014. Williams signed to Provident Label Group – Essential Records. He joined the label as a solo artist. He released his first solo single after disbanding the Zach Williams & The Reformation entitled “Chain Breaker.” This single reached number 1 on the Hot Christian Songs Chart as well as the Top 10 on Christian radio. “Chain Breaker” was released as a first full-length album on December 14, 2016. The CD was released on January 27, 2017. Second studio album, which was released under his solo music career named “Rescue Story.” Williams had also won the Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2018. He has also won a few more awards and nominations during his entire career.
