The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins and a Minor League Baseball team from the International League (IL). They got their name from the shrimp caught in the Jacksonville, Florida region. Opening in 2003, 121 Financial Ballpark is the site of the team's home games. Sam W. Wolfson Baseball Park was their home from 1962 until the 2002 season ended.

Before the 2017 season, the team changed its name to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. The Jumbo Shrimp were promoted to the International League in 2022 as part of MLB's restructuring of MiLB in 2021.

The 1968 season was Jacksonville's sole IL title when they were the New York Mets' Triple-A club. Six times, they were champions of the SL. When the Detroit Tigers' Double-A affiliate debuted in 1996, that was the first. They won in 2001 and 2005 while playing as an affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. 

The Miami Marlins' Double-A affiliate won three SL championships, the most recent being in 2014. The other two were in 2009 and 2010. The Triple-A East rebranded in 2022 as the International League, the moniker formerly held by the regional circuit before its reformation in 2021.
