The Unleash the Beast Series (UTB) is the PBR's Premier Series. The Top 30 bull riders compete against the most ferocious bucking bulls in the world in the nationally televised Unleash The Beast event of the PBR.

Since 2018, Monster Beverage Corporation has been the premiership's series sponsor. It was sponsored by Ford Motor Company (Built Ford Tough Series) from 2003 to 2017 and Anheuser-Busch (Bud Light Cup Series) from its inception in 1994 through 2002.

After the regular season, the PBR Unleash the Beast World Finals serve as its climax. Major competitions featured a variety of forms, bonus bulls, and increased prize money. The COVID-19 regulations in New York City and Los Angeles prevented the PBR from visiting both cities in 2021.

The Majors will return to the Premier Series in 2024 following a two-year absence. These events feature the Ty Murray Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Wrangler Long Live Cowboys Classic in Sacramento, California, and the Monster Energy Buck-Off at the Garden in New York.

The UTB elite tour, the entry-level (Touring Touring Division) tour, the mid-level (Velocity Tour), and the international tours all counted toward qualifying for the PBR World Finals in the past. Tours to Australia, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico take place at an international level. But starting in 2023, the PBR World Finals and world championship race only accepted points earned on the UTB series.
