FOX Nation presented the third annual Patriot Awards on November 17, 2021. The event honored people whose dedication to freedom and extraordinary selfless service to their country were obvious. Pete Hegseth, a veteran of the Army National Guard, presided over the event. He started the evening by paying tribute to his fellow service members. He explained that the Patriot Awards were established to recognize "ordinary Americans who achieved amazing things" and that he was a recipient of one of these awards.

New York third-grader D'Corey Johnson opened the program with his now-viral performance of the national anthem, and then Florida's Republican governor, Ron DeSantis, made an appearance. The ceremony began with Olympic medalist Tamrya Mensah-Stock being presented with the "Most Valuable Patriot" award by the network. Stock received the award for her undisguised patriotism and loyalty to the United States. Her heartfelt speech of gratitude to her country went viral after she won a medal at the Olympic Games of 2021 in Tokyo.

John Goudie, a Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal recipient from the United States Army, was named the Modern Warrior for 2021. In 2012, while serving in Afghanistan, he was shot multiple times. He had lost a limb and several other body parts in the fighting, yet he returned to service anyhow.
