Gabriel Jesus Iglesias (July 15, 1976) is an American actor and stand-up comedian born in San Diego, California. After working for a Los Angeles cell phone firm, Iglesias gave up his day job to pursue stand-up comedy full-time in 1997. This decision cost him his home and his car. When asked about his weight, Iglesias will often joke, "Oh, I'm not fat, I'm fluffy," and then elaborate on the five stages of fatness: "Big," "Healthy," "Husky," "Fluffy," and "DAMN!!! In 2009, he included the sixth and final stage, "Oh hell, no."

Iglesias was given the key to the city of El Paso, Texas. He also earned the Beacon of H.O.P.E. Award from the non-profit organization Operation H.O.P.E. on February 10, 2012. Iglesias looks up to Paul Rodriguez, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, and Bill Cosby as sources of comedic inspiration. Hawaiian shirts are a signature item of his wardrobe.

In Mr. Iglesias, a Netflix original series set at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, California, he played the role of Gabe Iglesias for two seasons: 2019 and 2020. Speedy Gonzales featured his vocal work in 2021's Space Jam: A New Legacy and Picchu in 2022's Maya and the Three. When Iglesias performed at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in 2022, he became the first comedian who do that. On October 18, 2022, the concert was shown on Netflix under Stadium Fluffy.
