Joe Rogan Information

Joe Rogan (August 11, 1967) is an American podcast host, stand-up comedian, television host, former actor, and mixed martial arts, color commentator. In August 1988, he started his career as a comedian in the Boston area. He has appeared as an actor in different television shows such as NewsRadio and Hardball. Rogan has performed a job as a color commentator and interviewer for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was never interested in being a stand-up comedian rather be a kickboxer.

Rogan launched his podcast in 2009 named “The Joe Rogan Experience.” He started his comedy career with the influence of the movie “Live on the Sunset Strip,” a film of comedian Richard Pryor. On August 27, 1988, Joe Rogan showed up at open mic night, where he performed as a stand-up comedian. This function took place in Boston at the Stitches Comedy Club.

After relocating himself to Los Angeles, he was spotted at his first national television comedy show “Half-Hour Comedy Hour.” He earned his first significant acting role in the film Hardball where he signed the nine-episode as Frank Valente. He also starred in the NBC sitcom NewsRadio from the year 1995-1999, where he appeared as Joe Garrell.

In January 2009, Ashton Kutcher produced a short-lived CBD show “Game Show in My Head,” which was hosted by Joe Rogan. He also hosted Fear Factory’s seventh season, which was also the final one from the year 2011 until 2012.

Rogan launched a free podcast with his fellow comedian Brian Redban in December 2009, initially broadcasted on Ustream. They recorded their first episode on December 24. Later on, Rogan renamed the podcast to “The Joe Rogan Experience” in August 2010. Itunes listed this podcast in its Top 100 podcasts.
