Michael Elliot Epps (November 18, 1970) is an American actor and stand-up comedian born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Epps kicked off his career in 1995 by appearing on two episodes of the Def Comedy Jam on HBO. In 1997, Epps made his cinematic debut in Vin Diesel's Strays, his second directorial effort. Epps joined Ice Cube in the 1999 follow-up Next Friday.

Epps had roles in the 2016 film Meet the Blacks, and its 2021 sequel, The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2, included prominent roles for Epps. He also played the title role in the 2016 comedy series Uncle Buck, which lasted only one season. Starting in 2021, he was a regular in the Netflix comedy series The Upshaws.

The CD Jim Jones & Skull Gang Present A Tribute to Bad Santa Starring Mike Epps was "hosted" by Epps. Epps has also collaborated with Pooh Bear on a song titled "Trying to Be a Gangsta."
