The U.S. reality competition series RuPaul's Drag Race airs on the NBC television network. World of Wonder produced it for Logo TV (seasons 1-8), WOW Presents Plus (seasons 9-14), VH1 (seasons 15+), and MTV (seasons 16+). The fourteenth season's cast was announced on VH1 on December 2, 2021, and on January 7, 2022, the season premiered on television. The first episode of Season 15 debuted on MTV on January 6, 2023. Sixteen queens are participating this season, the most ever for the competition, and the greatest cash prize in the show's history of $200,000.
