Trevor Noah (February 20, 1984) is a South African actor, producer, writer, comedian, and actor born in Johannesburg, Gauteng. A South African soap opera called Isidingo had Noah in a tiny part in 2002. Later, he had his show, Noah's Ark, on YFM, Gauteng's most popular youth radio station. His pals dared him to do a comic performance in a nightclub when he was 21.

In 2017, he guest-starred on the hit television show Nashville. Black Panther, Coming 2 America, and American Vandal were all 2018 films in which he had roles. Klepper, a primetime weekly docuseries premiering in May 2019, was also executive-produced by Noah. Noah struck a multi-year deal with Viacom in March 2018 that gives the network first dibs on any of his future projects. Noah would also establish Day Zero Productions, a worldwide production and distribution company, as part of the agreement.

Noah has hosted the Grammys three times (in 2021, 2022, and 2023) and hosted The Daily Show. The White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2022 was likewise hosted by him. The announcement of Trevor Noah's weekly original podcast on Spotify discussing diverse themes was made on June 20, 2023. The name of the podcast is currently TBD as of this writing. However, it will be released at the end of 2023.
