The stadium is operated by the Angels Baseball LP and owned by the City of Anaheim. It opened its doors for the first time on April 19, 1966, and got the 1st renovation done on April 1, 1998. It has got several improvements done so far, and the capacity changed after every renovation. It has a seating capacity of around 45,517 currently. It is home to Los Angeles Angels of MLB and the Los Angeles Ram of NFL (1980-1994). The Angel Stadium is also known by its unofficial nickname, “The Big A.”
