The Hollywood Bowl is another outdoor amphitheater which is located at North Highland Avenue, west of the (former) French Village, Los Angeles neighborhood, the Hollywood Hills in California. The venue was opened on 11th July 1922. It is under the ownership of the County of Los Angeles and operated by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. The seating capacity of this place is 17,500 people at a time. It was included in the list of top 10 live music venues in America in 2018 by the Rolling Stone Magazine. The Bowl serves as home to the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, a host venue to 100 of musical events throughout the year, and seasonal home to Los Angeles Philharmonic. It is the very first amphitheater in California that is to be certified as an Audubon Society Cooperative Sanctuary. It is a life providing system to various animals and plants.

This place is popular due to its bandshell and distinctive arches. It is called "bowl" that refers to the concave-shaped hillside where the amphitheater is carved into. The original shell was designed by the Allied Architects group in 1926. The second shell was designed by Wright in 1927 with a southwest American Indian architecture. The current shell was installed in 2004 being hybrid of all the previous shells which were designed by Hodgetts and Fung.

The Bowl is also featured in some top motion films including, A Star is Born, Double Indemnity, 'It's a Great Feeling, Yes Man, etc. The Bowl's set an attendance record of 26,410 at a performance by French opera star Lily Pons on 7th August 1936.
