Mohegan Sun Arena is owned and operated by Mohegan Sun. The venue was also named as the official home court of the very famous basketball team, the Connecticut Sun.

The venue plays host to a wide range of various events, from sports to electric concerts. The popular musical events hosted by the venue include a diverse range of different musical types such as pop, rock, jazz, country, classical, metal, and rap.
