Nebraskaland Days was founded by the Game and Parks Commission in 1967. It is the state’s biggest celebration, including the rodeo, a musical presentation, a parade, and a beauty pageant. Since its inception, the Nebraskaland Days continues to be a source of tradition and true community pride, winning many awards for its massive efforts. In 2008, the Buffalo Bill Rodeo Committee was inaugurated to the famous Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. The celebration is known to have an impact of $21.5 million for the Lincoln County economy annually.
