The Toyota Center is located at 1510 Polk Street, Houston, Texas. It is an indoor arena which is named after the Japanese automobile manufacturer, Toyota. The venue is under the ownership of Harris County Houston Sports Authority and is operated by Clutch City Sports and Entertainment. Toyota Center has a seating capacity of 19,000 for concerts and 18,055 for basketball along with 103 luxury suites and 2,900 club seats. The inauguration of this venue took place on October 6, 2003, with a construction cost of US$235 million. The architectural work of the arena is done by Morris Architects, Populous (then HOK Sport), and John Chase Architects.

The Toyota Center serves home to Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association and was a former home to Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. The side 2,500-space Toyota Tundra garage is connected to the arena by a private sky bridge. It can be accessed by Suite, Court-side, and Club Seat holders. The first event that was held at this place was a Fleetwood Mac concert on October 6, 2003. The very first Rockets game at the Toyota Center was against the Denver Nuggets. The venue was the winner of the Allen Award for Civic Enhancement by Central Houston along with the "Rookie of the Year" award by the Harlem Globetrotters.

The record attendance for the concert was of 17,962 during the Death Magnetic tour by Metallic on November 20, 2008.
