Eros Ramazzotti (October 28, 1963) is an Italian songwriter, singer, and musician. He is popular not only in Italy but also in most European Countries as well as throughout the Spanish-speaking countries. Most of his albums, he has released so far, are in Spanish and Italian or both, which is the reason for his huge fan base around the globe.

He has released around 11 studio albums since 1984. Ramazotti started his career with a single “Ad un Amico,” released in 1982, but unfortunately, it was not a well-received as his first entry into the musical world. He finally met his mentor, Renato Brioschi, who transformed his musical skills and mentored him to get his first success, which was a Sanremo Festival in 1984. One of his songs, “Terra Promessa” won the Newcomers’ category. It was subsequently released throughout Europe. He again participated in the Sanremo Festival later on in 1985 with the song “Una Storia Importante.”

In 1986, he released his second album, “Nuovi Eroi.” The album received 100,000 sales, as well as got presented with two platinum awards in Switzerland. In Germany, the album rocked and received a total of 250,000 in sales and Gold status.

After releasing his third album “In Certi Momenti,” in 1987, he went on a long tour that was for nine months around. He performed in front of more than a million people during this tour. The album “In Certi Moment” reached more than 3 million copies worldwide, sold over 250,000, and went Gold in Germany, whereas in Switzerland, it went Platinum with more than 50,000 sales.
