Miranda Leigh Lambert (November 10, 1983) is a country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist born in Longview, Texas. She was born in Longview, Texas. Lambert began her career in early 2001 by publishing her self-titled first album. Nashville Star was a singing competition that aired on the USA Network in 2003, and she came in third place.

The singles "Me and Charlie Talking," "Kerosene," "Bring Me Down," and "New Strings" were all taken from Lambert's big label debut album Kerosene (2005), which was certified Platinum in the United States. On Billboard's chart of Hot Country Songs, all four tracks charted within the top 40.

The album Platinum's first track, "Automatic," charted in the top five country music charts, while the record won the Grammy for Best Country Album. The Weight of These Wings, her 6th studio album, received platinum status from the RIAA after its November 18, 2016, release.

On January 31, 2021, she was awarded the Grammy for Best Country Album for her seventh studio album, Wildcard.

Later, she worked with singer-songwriters Jon Randall and Jack Ingram on an album with a more acoustic, stripped-down vibe; this album was titled The Marfa Tapes. On May 7, 2021, it was released to critical acclaim.

On April 29, 2022, Lambert dropped Palomino, her seventh solo album. In the same year, Time magazine declared her one of the 100 most important people in the world.
