Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (February 20, 2003) is an American singer, songwriter and a brilliant actress. She became well-known because of her starring roles on the Disney Channel shows Bizaardvark (2016–2019) and High School Musical (2019–2022).
In 2021, she launched her first single, "Drivers License," which became one of that year's best-selling singles. She then released the songs "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U" before releasing her debut studio album, Sour, in 2021. The album received widespread acclaim and several awards, including three Grammys.

In 2022, a Disney+ documentary titled Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U detailed her time making the album Sour. Rodrigo's follow-up studio album, Guts, was released in 2023, with the tracks "Vampire" and "Bad Idea Right?" serving as promotional singles.

The RIAA has awarded five of Rodrigo's albums multi-platinum certifications, and she has two number-one albums on the Billboard 200 and three number-one songs on the Billboard Hot 100. One American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards, and 3 MTV Music Video Awards are just a few of the honors she's received.

Rodrigo was honored with the Entertainer of the Year award in 2021 and the Woman of the Year award from Billboard in 2022.
Released on August 11, 2023, "Bad Idea Right?" is the album's second single. It reached the top 10 in the United States and the United Kingdom. A record-breaking one billion digital streams in the United Kingdom earned Rodrigo the BRIT Billion Award on August 16.
