Stevie Nicks (May 26, 1948) is an American producer, singer, and songwriter. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Nicks began her solo career in 1981 with the release of her studio album Bella Donna. It peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 and has since gone multi-platinum. She has sold over 65 million albums in the United States alone between her eight solo and seven albums with Fleetwood Mac.

Nicks's live CD and concert film from her 24 Karat Gold Tour (2016-2017) were directed by Joe Thomas and published in September 2020. After a six-year hiatus, Nicks released new music on October 9, 2020. Directed by Cameron Crowe, "Show Them the Way" is the official music video for the song of the same name. Primary Wave, a music publishing firm, acquired Nick's song catalog for 80% in December 2020. WSJ estimated the value of the transaction to be $100 million.

The fictional band Gorillaz revealed the album's track listing for Cracker Island on August 31, 2022. The album's second track, "Oil," features Stevie Nicks, credited as a collaborator. Nicks covered Stephen Stills and Buffalo Springfield's protest song "For What It's Worth" in September 2022. She and Billy Joel are planning a tour across the United States for later 2023, with the first show likely to occur at SoFi Stadium in the San Fernando Valley.
