About Surfaces

Surfaces is a musical band from Texas. They originate with and consist of Forrest Frank and brother and sister, Colin and Alexa Padalecki who are well known and praised for their genre-bending works with their songs and albums. Surface successfully formed in 2017 and released their first full-length album called “Surf”. They had significant success with the album and that’s when they decided to return in 2019 and released their second album “Where the Light is”. This album is a summer soundtrack similar to its previous one, only with better songwriting and an even better production. It was praised for its feel-good soul music that has been compared with similar feels to that of Sugar Ray and Rex Orange County. Their primary genre however, remains Soul and R&B.
