Their uniform color scheme includes silver, process blue, and black. The team's official mascot is Sir Purr. David Tepper owns the Panthers. Kristi Coleman is the current president, and Scott Fitterer is the general manager. Frank Reich is serving as the current head coach of the team.

While their stadium in uptown Charlotte was being built, the Panthers played their inaugural season at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina.
