Max Amini (September 20, 1981) is an Iranian-American born in Tucson, Arizona. He works as a director, producer, actor, and comedian. As a world-renowned stand-up comic, Max has appeared on series including Mind of Mencia (Comedy Central), Real Rob with Rob Schneider (Netflix), and NBC's Heroes. Jerry Seinfeld listed Max Amini as one of his favorite comedians to listen to on Spike's Car Radio Podcast.

In 2010, Max founded Abstraction Media, a production firm that has since sold projects to networks including Discovery, Voice of America, and others. In addition, he is directing the 2022 feature picture James The Second and an original stand-up special for Netflix called Enissa Amani: Ehrenwort.

After starting at the Los Angeles Improv in 2002, Amini created a stand-up comedy tour called "Exotic Imports" and performed globally. Not only does Amini often appear at the Hollywood Laugh Factory, but he also tours and has hour-long comedy specials.

Amini's film and television credits include NBC's Heroes, Mind of Mencia (Comedy Central), Real Rob starring Rob Schneider (Netflix), and the 2010 comedy How Beer Pong Saved My Life, where he played the lead character.
