Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski (March 19, 1980) is an American podcaster, television personality, stand-up comedian, and actor. He is professionally known as Theo Von. Von was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Von's father was 68 years old when he was born, but in his jokes, he always puts him at 70. Von's father was shot and killed when he was 16 years old. Thus, he and his siblings grew up in Covington, Louisiana.

In Mandeville, Louisiana, he graduated from Mandeville High School. He studied at Louisiana State University, the University of Arizona, Loyola University New Orleans, the College of Charleston, and Santa Monica College. 2011 Von graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of New Orleans.

Von began his professional entertainment career at nineteen when he appeared in MTV's Road Rules: Maximum Velocity Tour in 2000. He also appeared on the Comedy Central sketch/competition show Reality Bites Back in mid-2008.

Von became the anchor of the famous Yahoo online TV review show Primetime in No Time in 2011. Von's first hour-long comedy special, No Offense, was published on Netflix in 2016. Von now hosts a single podcast, This Past Weekend, and previously hosted the program King and The Sting (and Wing). He has appeared on many comedians' podcasts, including the most notable one, The Joe Rogan Experience.

He currently broadcasts the This Past Weekend podcast and has co-hosted The King and the Sting podcast.
