Thomas and Mack Center is an arena which is located at Maryland Parkway, Paradise, Nevada. The venue opened to the general public on December 16, 1983. It has a seating capacity of about 19,522 people at a time. The venue is named after the two prominent Nevada based bankers named E. Parry Thomas and Jarome D. Mack. It underwent a significant renovation in the year 1999. The architecture of the Thomas and Mack Center was designed by Mark Thomas of a local firm named Mark Thomas Architects. The venue is under the ownership and is operated by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The Thomas and Mack Center hosts a variety of events such as music festivals, concerts, conventions, and boxing cards. Well-known bands such as the Motley Crue, KISS, Van Halen, AC/DC, Metallica, U2, Phish, Guns N’ Roses, Pearl Jam and Aerosmith have performed at the arena.
