Phoebe Lucille Bridgers (August 17, 1994) is an American producer, guitarist, singer, and songwriter. She was born and raised in Pasadena, California. Bridgers also spent some of her childhood time in Ukiah, California. She graduated from the Sequoyah School in Pasadena and Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Bridgers briefly went to the Berklee College of Music. Bridgers was a member of various groups while she was still in school. After meeting singer and songwriter Ryan Adams, she released her EP, Killer, through mutual collaborators. Adams released her EP on his label named PAX AM.

In January 2017, Bridgers opened for Conor Oberst on his European tour and released the single entitled “Smoke Signals.” She signed to independent label Dead Oceans in June 2017. Bridgers released her debut studio album on September 22, 2017, entitled Stranger in the Alps. Rob Moose, Ethan Gruska, and Tony Berg were featured as producers for the album. Bridgers also performed on the NPR Tiny Desk and CBS This Morning to promote the album.

Bridgers released her second studio album, Punisher, on June 17, 2020. The album received several positive reviews. She announced the formation of her label, Saddest Factory, in October 2020. The label was an imprint of Dead Oceans.

Bridgers has released several extended plays such as Daytrotter Sessions (November 5, 2015), 2016 Tour CD (2016), Spotify Singles (December 5, 2018), Inner Demons (June 5, 2020), Copycat Killer (November 20, 2020), and If We Make It Through December (November 23, 2020).
