The Savannah Bananas are a traveling baseball exhibition club headquartered in Georgia's capital. Since its inception in 2016, the squad has played all its home games at Grayson Stadium. The Bananas were a college summer baseball team that played in the CPL West from 2016 to 2022, during which time they won three Petitt Cups. 

Similar to the decades-long format of the Harlem Globetrotters and their partner touring team, the Washington Generals, the team shifted entirely to exhibition games against their partner touring teams, the Party Animals and the Firefighters, and other "challenger" professional teams after the success of their alternative "Banana Ball" format. 

The Wall Street Journal, ESPN, and Sports Illustrated have all profiled the team for their antics on the field that have become popular online. In 2022, the Bananas stated they would no longer field a college amateur team and instead focus on "Banana Ball." In August of 2022, a miniseries named Bananaland, based on the team, premiered on ESPN+. As of 2023, the team has more TikTok followers than any other MLB club, at over six million.
