This Pink Floyd tribute band was founded in 2011 by Damian Darlington (singer, guitarist, and musical director). The Band usually plays psychedelic rock and progressive rock genres.

The current members included in the Brit Floyd are 14 in total, including Damian Darlington (guitar, lap steel, vocals), Gareth Darlington, Bryan Kolupski (media director), Arran Ahmun (drums), Ola Bienkowska, Emily Jollands, Jacquie Williams, Angela Cervantes (backing vocals), Ryan Saranich, and others.

The Band began a "massive 76-date US tour" in 2016 that featured "an extended career-spanning setlist," a "million dollar stage design," and a performance of Pink Floyd's 24-minute epic "Echoes."

After their 2022 world tour, Brit Floyd announced in a press release that they had cut ties with their previous management, a small British production firm, CMP Entertainment, and joined forces with Palladium Entertainment. The Band created new social media accounts and a new website due to the breakup.

The group revealed their plans for a 2023 global tour in conjunction with the news of the management transition. The tour will mark the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon.
